The first six of these eight photographs were in the Surface Magazine 7th Annual Avant Guardian portfolio (issue #50, "Next Wave," October 2004). Every year this project accepts entries from hundreds of unknown photographers. This year, a small number were chosen by a panel of industry judges, and then assigned a fashion shoot by Surface. They had me shoot guys in Dior Homme, Fred Perry & Belstaff. I worked with local models who are my friends in Athens, Georgia, assisted by Amanda Bowen & Elyse Mazanti. There are lots of other people who contributed to making this shoot and previous efforts possible. Thanks to all of you, and to Surface magazine's staff for this opportunity!
